Thesis

The PhD Program represents the third level of academic education.
It is pursued after obtaining a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) and spans three years of study, totaling 180 ECTS credits. The program is centered on the development of an original and innovative research project, which is publicly presented and defended at the end of the course.

Admission to the PhD Program is regulated by an annual call for applications published by the University, open to both national and international students. The call is typically issued between February and May, with the selection process usually taking place at the end of September.

The PhD Program, initially established in Nursing Science and currently titled Nursing Science and Public Health, was launched in 2006 with the XXII Cycle. On this page, you can browse abstracts of the defended theses.
